The Author and other projects
My name is Alan James Salmoni, and I live in the Philippines though I am British. I have a PhD in human-computer interaction and am running a usability consultancy called user:number 1. I also write lots of statistics software like SalStat which I hope to release in the future. My true enjoyment stems through writing code and writing stories (I am finishing off a novel which is currently over 86,000 words in length): I guess that I just love to communicate! My biggest kick from developing SalStat is not producing something that works, but rather receiving feedback off users, and even if it isn't positive I enjoy getting it as long as it is constructive. My ideal position would be to be paid to extend SalStat (I can dream!), but I would love to work on application interface design from the users perspective. I may be contacted at alansalmoni[at]yahoo.co.uk. |
